BRENDA, ME, JANICE AND CAROLYN My sisters and I just returned from a road trip to North Carolina. I am so thankful for the time we spent together. We visited some beautiful places and had some good food and some not so good. We did not like Paula Deen‘s food. Any one of the four of us could have made a better meal than we had there. Paula has a fantastic personality and you can’t help but like her but I left her restaurant hungry.  |
Drunken Jack’s had the best food. I don’t know why it’s called that. We had a beautiful view of the SC coast while we were eating. This was at Murrells Inlet, SC. We could see Goat Island and enjoyed the stories we were told about it.
GOAT ISLAND
We were out in Charlotte, NC at the River Walk and got caught in the rain. We had to take a taxi back to the hotel and then found out we were only two blocks away. We were all soaked.
Here we are at my favorite town. Savanna, GA. I could live there. It has the most beautiful parks in the world. They call them squares. We saw a cathedral that was as beautiful as the ones my sisters saw in Italy last year. I was sick and didn’t get to go with them.
